Throughout the month of November, we have a unique opportunity to make a difference in our community by supporting the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. This initiative allows us to shop and dine at local businesses, all while raising funds for a cause that profoundly impacts our families and neighbors.
As part of National Alzheimer’s Disease and Family Caregiver Awareness Month, Month of Memories shines a light on the ongoing need for education, therapeutic resources, and support for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative conditions. All funds raised will directly support the center’s mission to provide these vital services at no cost to Las Vegas families.
By participating, you’re not just helping raise awareness, but also ensuring that families in our community receive the support they need to navigate these challenges. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s and the caregivers who give so much of themselves.

In its 2022 Alzheimer’s Disease Facts & Figures report, the Alzheimer’s Association declared Nevada a “dementia neurology desert.” The report highlights a concerning disparity: by 2025, the state is projected to have fewer than 10 neurologists per 10,000 residents living with dementia, despite ranking third in the nation for the expected growth of Alzheimer’s disease.
Together, we will transform the fight against neurological diseases, saving and improving lives for generations to come.
Since our establishment in 2009, Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health has been at the forefront of providing expert diagnosis and treatment for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body dementia, frontotemporal dementia, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s diseases, other movement disorders, and multiple sclerosis. We are committed to offering a comprehensive continuum of care, with no-cost opportunities for Nevadans to engage in education, research, and clinical trials, including studies focused on disease prevention and the development of innovative treatments. “Therapy restaurant has participated in Month of Memories for the past 7 years. With a nod to the symbolic color of Alzheimer’s disease, our mixologist creates the most delicious purple drinks while our chef incorporates touches of purple in mouth-watering dishes. Our team is driven by a passion for service and dedication to helping our community. Join us this November to increase Alzheimer’s awareness and keep working towards a cure.”
