Women’s Alzheimer’s Prevention Center: Empowering Women with Knowledge and Care at Cleveland Clinic Nevada
Building on peer-reviewed science indicating that up to 40% of all Alzheimer’s cases might be preventable through risk-reduction strategies, the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement Prevention & Research Center at Cleveland Clinic is a groundbreaking collaboration between the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health and Maria Shriver’s Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement. These two nonprofit organizations have a demonstrated commitment to Alzheimer’s prevention and have come together to create the nation’s first women-specific program for Alzheimer’s disease prevention, research, and caregiving support.

The center focuses on personalized risk-reduction tactics tailored to each woman, aiming to push forward innovative strategies and provide comprehensive care. This pioneering initiative not only emphasizes the importance of prevention but also supports women through research and caregiving resources, making it a one-of-a-kind program dedicated to combating Alzheimer’s disease.
