Cleveland Clinic has announced plans to expand its care offerings in Nevada by introducing concierge medicine and executive health practices, with patient appointments expected to begin in the third quarter of 2025 and 2026, respectively.
“We first established our presence in Nevada 15 years ago through the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health and its flagship neurological program,” said Dr. Tommaso Falcone, executive vice president and president of International and Emerging Markets at Cleveland Clinic. “As we explored ways to expand our services in Nevada, we wanted to do so in a way that truly benefits the community. Our expansion into concierge medicine and executive health is in response to Nevada’s rapidly growing population and increasing demand for healthcare. This is an exciting first step in our long-term plan for sustainable growth.”
These new services will be part of Cleveland Clinic’s Primary Care Institute and will expand the health system’s presence in southern Nevada. Both services will be located within Evora, a mixed-use development in the southwest Las Vegas valley.
Cleveland Clinic’s concierge medicine program is already established in international locations like Abu Dhabi, Florida, London, and Toronto, with over 2,000 patients currently enrolled. The Nevada expansion is part of a broader domestic rollout, which will also include additional locations in Florida and Ohio. Concierge medicine offers highly personalized healthcare, including:
- 24/7 communication with a physician, including support during medical emergencies
- Longer appointment times than traditional primary care
- Tailored treatment plans based on each patient’s medical history and lifestyle
- Access to top specialists in Las Vegas and throughout the Cleveland Clinic system, coordinated by a primary care physician
“Primary care is the first step in a person’s healthcare journey, and concierge medicine provides a convenient and personalized approach to navigating this system,” said Dr. James Gutierrez, Chairman of the Primary Care Institute at Cleveland Clinic. “Concierge medicine allows physicians to care for fewer patients, spending more time with each to coordinate ongoing care, including referrals to specialists within our system or in the community. It’s a model we’re excited to bring to Nevadans.”
Cleveland Clinic’s executive health program offers a comprehensive, world-class medical, wellness, and preventive services assessment. The goal is to detect potential health issues early, reduce medical risks, and promote overall wellness. This head-to-toe evaluation involves a range of providers, including physicians, nurses, dietitians, exercise physiologists, and psychologists. After the full-day assessment, patients will receive a personalized health report with recommendations to improve their health and well-being.
“When we founded the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, our vision was to provide Nevada with a world-class, multidisciplinary center for brain disease research, treatment, and education, so Nevadans no longer had to leave the state for care,” said Larry Ruvo, co-founder and chairman of Keep Memory Alive, the fundraising arm of the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. “Fifteen years later, I’m proud of the impact we’ve made, bringing innovative programs not just to Nevada but across the nation. We’ve opened centers for Alzheimer’s prevention with Maria Shriver, enrolled hundreds of athletes in brain health studies, and provided invaluable support for family caregivers.”
Ruvo added, “I am incredibly proud of the dignity, support, and hope we’ve brought through more than 300,000 patient appointments and 116,000 visits to our free therapeutic and educational programs. As we continue advancing neurological care, we are excited to see Cleveland Clinic expand its services and offer more options for quality healthcare in our community.”
