Mr. Vinh Nguyen serves as Executive Director for International Finance at Cleveland Clinic, based in Cleveland, Ohio.
Vinh is a seasoned executive with diverse industry experience and well-established record of structuring and executing corporate strategies and growth initiatives in domestic and international markets. Vinh is known for saying that his role is to “promote world-class patient care through sound financial decision-making.”
Vinh joined Cleveland Clinic in 2016 from Johns Hopkins Medicine International, where he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. As member of the executive management team, Vinh was responsible for the organization’s finances, operations, corporate policies and infrastructures, and JHI’s relationship with internal and external affiliates and institutions.
Vinh spent the first half of his career in management consulting with a number of companies across a range of industries including telecom, financial services and federal government before spending the last ten years in corporate finance and operations. Prior to JHI, Vinh was the Treasurer at Learning Tree International, a small-cap, publicly-traded professional development and IT training company.
Vinh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Master’s degree in Management Information Technologies from The University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, as well as a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
