Camille Ruvo

Co-Founder and Vice-Chairwoman, Keep Memory Alive

Camille Ruvo

As Vice-Chairwoman, Mrs. Ruvo leads the development efforts, event planning, and all fundraising for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Nevada.

Mrs. Ruvo has dedicated more than 20 years to improving the lives of those living in Nevada. In addition to raising two daughters, Camille has coordinated major fundraising efforts for the Meadows School, Alexander Dawson School, and Bishop Gorman High School.

Over the years, Mrs. Ruvo has continued to volunteer, support, and fundraise for various charities in Las Vegas. She served on the Andre Agassi Capital Campaign Board, and shortly thereafter, Mrs. Ruvo became an effective member of the Catholic Charities executive board, serving for six years and ultimately earning the position of President.

The Woodrow Wilson Foundation, The Heart of Hope Foundation, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, and the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada have recognized Mrs. Ruvo’s philanthropic efforts.

Camille Ruvo is proud to be the wife of Larry Ruvo, the mother of Lauren and Brianna, and the stepmother of Nicole.

Mrs. Ruvo’s next fundraising focus for Keep Memory Alive is the caregiver. The goal of this initiative is to raise awareness about the unspoken distress that caregivers endure while caring for loved ones with neurological diseases. Providing social services and support systems for caregivers is her passion. To emphasize the importance of caregivers, Mrs. Ruvo personally coined the phrase, “Before the Cure, There are Caregivers®.”
