Keep Memory Alive Brings Star Power to the 28th Annual Power of Love Gala

Keep Memory Alive has announced an exciting lineup of entertainers to celebrate and honor Jimmy Kimmel at the 28th annual Power of Love® gala on Saturday, Feb. 22, at MGM Garden Arena. The unforgettable evening will feature appearances by celebrated artists, all supporting Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

Legendary band Earth, Wind & Fire will bring their timeless groove and feel-good energy to the stage, performing music from their iconic catalog of chart-topping hits like “September,” “Boogie Wonderland,” and “Shining Star.” As nine-time GRAMMY® Award-winners, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, and Kennedy Center Honorees, Earth, Wind & Fire has cemented their lasting impact on popular music as they continue to inspire new audiences and thrill those who have been with them from the beginning. The band has scored eight number one hits and sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, making them one of the best-selling artists of all time.

Also set to appear are:

  • Anthony Anderson, Emmy-nominated actor, comedian and producer known for his starring role in “Black-ish,” star of the upcoming Amazon film “G20” and multiple NAACP Image Award recipient.
  • Jason Bateman, Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning actor, director and producer known for his performances in “Ozark,” “Arrested Development” and “Horrible Bosses,” and cohost of the “Smartless” podcast.
  • Kristen Bell, Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Television Award-nominated actress for her roles in “The Good Place” and “Nobody Wants This,” star of comedies including “Bad Moms” and “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” and the voice of Anna in Disney’s “Frozen.”
  • Billy Crystal, actor and comedian with six Emmys, a Tony Award, three Grammy and Golden Globes nominations, nine-time Oscars host, and recipient of the Critics’ Choice Lifetime Achievement Award and Kennedy Center Honors.
  • Judge Judy (Judge Judy Sheindlin), Presiding Judge on Prime Video’s Emmy-Award winning “Judy Justice” and recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Emmy.
  • Jeff Ross, comedian dubbed the “The Roastmaster General,” and the executive producer and performer on Netflix’s highest-rated live special, “The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady,” currently touring with his one-man show, “Take A Banana For The Ride.”
  • Dax Shepard, actor, comedian and filmmaker known for roles in “Parenthood” and “Without a Paddle,” and host of the “Armchair Expert” podcast.

The Power of Love gala is a vital platform to generate funds to enable the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health to find, fund, and facilitate the most effective and innovative research, treatment, and educational support programming for patients and their families affected by brain disorders, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, multiple system atrophy and multiple sclerosis.

Chefs Wolfgang Puck, a supporter of Keep Memory Alive since its inception, and Thomas Keller, the first and only American-born chef to hold multiple three-star ratings from the prestigious Michelin Guide, will craft an exclusive menu. The menu will be paired with exceptional wines curated by master sommeliers from Southern Glazer’s Wine, Spirits & Beer of Nevada.

Keep Memory Alive Co-Founders Larry and Camille Ruvo will also present the Community Leadership Award to Top Rank Boxing founders Lovee and Bob Arum for their extraordinary philanthropic commitment to Keep Memory Alive and numerous other nonprofit organizations.

“The monies raised at the Power of Love gala go back to serving the more than 7,000 lives currently in our care and will continue to impact more patients and families as the prevalence of brain diseases continues to rise,” said Keep Memory Alive co-founder and chairman Larry Ruvo. “We are deeply grateful to this remarkable lineup of entertainers who chose to lend their talent to help us expand funding for innovation in clinical research, access to new treatment options and other essential services helping to improve quality of life and Keep Memory Alive.”
