World-Class Clinical Care
The Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health isn’t an island in the desert. We’re part of Cleveland Clinic’s more than 100-year history of education, care and research. Our Las Vegas location is proud to have been recognized as a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence, a CurePSP Center of Care, and a National MS Society Center for Comprehensive Care.
Areas of Care at the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health
Alzheimer's Disease & Cognitive Disorders:
We provide multidisciplinary diagnosis, disease management, and ongoing care for memory loss. Patients also gain access to one of the nation’s largest Alzheimer’s clinical trial programs, which means treatments still years from wider availability are often available here first.
Parkinson's Disease & Movement Disorders:
Our specialists care for Parkinson’s, Lewy body dementia, essential tremor, and Huntington’s disease. Treatment spans advanced medical therapies, neurorehabilitation, and Deep Brain Stimulation evaluations, coordinated by a team that treats these conditions every day rather than occasionally.
Multiple Sclerosis:
As a designated National MS Society Center for Comprehensive Care, we are dedicated to providing cutting-edge disease-modifying therapies, clinical trials, and coordinated symptom management for multiple sclerosis (MS) and other neuroimmunological conditions.
Clinical Research Studies
At Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, the goal is to help people with degenerative brain conditions thrive as long as possible. You can help by taking part in our clinical research in Las Vegas.
Physical, Occupational, Speech & Music Therapy
Our board-certified therapists work one-on-one to keep patients moving, communicating, and living independently: physical therapy for balance and strength, occupational therapy for everyday tasks, speech-language pathology for communication and swallowing. Music therapy supports motor skills, memory, and mood, at no cost thanks to donor support.
Neuropsychology
Knowing exactly what has changed in memory, attention, or reasoning is one of the most useful tools a physician has. Our neuropsychologists run detailed evaluations that establish a baseline, clarify a diagnosis, and shape a treatment plan built on data rather than guesswork.
Retired Athletes Clinic
For athletes with a history of head impacts, we start with a full brain health evaluation, then build a lifelong care plan with neurologists, neuropsychologists, and rehabilitation therapists. Support is available for families too, and patients can join our Professional Athletes Brain Health Study, running in Las Vegas since 2011.
Imaging
Our on-site imaging center is open to the entire Nevada community; you don’t need to be a Cleveland Clinic patient to schedule a scan. We offer CT, PET, nuclear medicine, and whole-body MRI, including an open-bore 3.0 Tesla MRI. Most results are ready within 24 hours.
Women's Alzheimer's Movement Prevention Center:
Two-thirds of Americans with Alzheimer’s are women, and no one fully knows why. In partnership with Maria Shriver, this first-of-its-kind clinic investigates that question while offering risk assessments, genetic counseling, and lifestyle interventions built around diet, exercise, sleep, and stress.
Concierge Medicine
For patients who want a closer relationship with their physician, this membership program provides a dedicated primary care doctor reachable around the clock, same- or next-day weekday appointments, an annual health assessment, and coordinated access to specialists across Cleveland Clinic’s network.
Executive Health
A full preventive health evaluation condensed into a single day: a comprehensive physical, screenings matched to your age and risk profile, and consultations covering nutrition, exercise physiology, and executive coaching. You leave with a personalized roadmap, not a stack of results to decipher alone.
