David Steinberg, MD, is the Managing Partner of Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging (SDMI) with 8 outpatient imaging centers located throughout the Las Vegas and Henderson area. Dr. Steinberg is certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and has fulfilled the requirements of the Board’s Maintenance of Certification Program certifying him as a diplomate of the ABR in Vascular and Interventional Radiology as well as Neuroradiology, his main area of focus. He is also board certified in Nuclear Cardiology and is a Distinguished Fellow of the American College of Nuclear Medicine.
In 2014, Dr. Steinberg received one of the highest honors that the American College of Radiology (ACR) can bestow on a radiologist, that of Fellow of the American College of Radiology.
Prior to starting Steinberg Diagnostic, Dr. Steinberg was the Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at George Washington University Interventional Section, and was Chief of Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Steinberg earned his medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine in 1981. He completed an internship in General Medicine at UCLA Medical Center and a Residency in Diagnostic Imaging at University of California San Francisco in 1985, Dr. Steinberg went on to complete an Interventional & Cardiovascular Fellowship at Alexandra Hospital in Alexandria, VA in 1986.
Not only is Dr. Steinberg a proud Board Member for Keep Memory Alive, he also serves as a Board Member for Roseman University.
David Steinberg and wife Betsi have two children. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, fly fishing, traveling, skiing, hiking, and bicycling.
